Twenty passenger seats and the largest thing we run. It exists for one reason: past seven people the alternative is a convoy, and a convoy is three drivers, three fares and a group that arrives in pieces.
The arithmetic
The fare is for the bus, not the seat. Ten people pay what twenty pay, so the cost per head halves as the group fills up — and against three cars it is not close. It also means one confirmation, one driver to find at arrivals and one vehicle to wait for, which on a group arrival is worth more than the money.
Twenty seats or ten bags
Ten suitcases is the honest figure, and twenty passengers each with a large case is not a combination this or any minibus takes. A full bus travelling light works; a full bus with full luggage needs the boot and the aisle, and we would rather agree that in advance than start rearranging it at the terminal. Tell us both numbers when you book.
The roof you can stand under
It is a high-roof body, so an adult stands upright in the aisle. That sounds like a detail until you watch twenty people board with hand luggage, or travel with anyone who finds folding into a car seat difficult.
On board
Air conditioning that reaches the back row, a hotspot, water, USB, rear luggage space and an English-speaking driver.
When the Vito is enough
Seven or fewer, and it is: the Mercedes Vito costs less and is easier through the old town's streets. This bus starts making sense at eight, and stops being optional somewhere around twelve.
More than twenty, or a long drive rather than an airport run? The 29-seat Isuzu Turkuaz seats nine more and lays them out 2+1, so nobody sits in a middle seat for four hours.
Booking
Give us the head count, the number of cases, the date and the pickup point. For a group arrival, add the flight number and we will meet it.
