Caspian Sea & Boat Trips from Baku

Baku sits on a bay, and the best view of it is from the water. A short cruise takes you past the boulevard, the Flame Towers and the port for a skyline no street corner gives you — calm, breezy and made for photos.
For more sea and fewer buildings, the Shahdili spit runs a thin finger of sand far out into the Caspian, water on both sides, out past the city. Both trips are easy, family-friendly and weather-dependent — we watch the forecast and reschedule rather than sail into a rough day.

Frequently asked questions
Is it suitable for children and non-swimmers?
Yes. The cruise is calm-water and life jackets are provided; you stay aboard throughout. Tell us of small children so we seat the group comfortably.
What if the weather turns?
The Caspian can get choppy, so these are weather-dependent. If the forecast is poor we move your trip to another day or refund it — we don't sail a rough sea.
How long are we on the water?
The bay cruise is around an hour to ninety minutes; the Shahdili trip is a half-day with driving out to the spit and time on the sand. Exact timings are on each tour's page.
