Baku City Tours: Old City & by Night
2 tours · 0 traveller reviews · local guides
5.0 7
Baku rewards two very different walks. By day the Icherisheher old town is a maze of caravanserais, the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshahs' palace inside medieval walls; by night the city changes clothes — the Flame Towers burn, the boulevard fills and the fountains run.
Both are led on foot by a local guide, at an easy pace, with time to stop, photograph and ask. Do one, or do both on the same visit — the day walk and the night tour fit neatly into one Baku stay.

Frequently asked questions
How much walking is involved?
A comfortable couple of hours each, on flat streets and the seaside boulevard, with stops. Wear easy shoes and tell us if anyone in the group needs a gentler pace.
When does the night tour start?
After sunset, when the Flame Towers and the boulevard are lit — the exact time shifts with the season, and we confirm it with your booking.
Can I combine the two?
Yes, and many guests do — the Old City walk in the afternoon and the city by night the same evening. Ask us and we'll set the timing so one runs into the other.
