290 km and a little over four hours from the terminal — the longest airport transfer on the site, and the same road the Baku to Sheki page describes, joined without crossing the city. The driver meets you inside arrivals and tracks the flight; a delay moves the pickup and costs nothing.

Four hours after a flight is a real decision, not a detail. Land at nine in the evening and you reach Sheki after one in the morning; land at two and you are checking in as the town wakes up. We will usually suggest the other thing: a night in Baku, then the same journey in daylight when the Caucasus foothills are the point of the drive rather than four hours of darkness. Where this route earns its keep is a morning landing, a group with luggage, or a week too short to spend a day of it in a city you did not come for.

How long is the airport to Sheki?
A little over four hours for 290 km, driven straight through. It is the longest airport transfer we run.
Should we do this after a long flight?
Only if you land in the morning. After an evening arrival it is four hours of dark road to a hotel check-in at one or two — a night in Baku and a daytime run is the better trade and we will say so.
Will the driver wait if we are delayed?
Yes, at no extra charge. He tracks the flight and waits in arrivals, which on a four-hour onward journey matters more than on a short one.
Can we break the journey?
Gabala is roughly two thirds of the way and makes a natural overnight stop if you would rather not do it in one go. Tell us and we price it as two legs on consecutive days.
