Cancellation Policy

Plans change. This page says what happens to your money when they do — how much comes back, by when, and how to tell us.

Cancelling free of charge

• Day trips — cancel at any point up to 24 hours before the departure time on your confirmation and you are refunded in full.
• Multi-day tours — the cut-off is 72 hours, because the vehicle and the guide are held for your party over several days.

Inside the cut-off, and no-shows

Once the window has closed the booking is non-refundable: the vehicle is committed and the guide's day is taken. Write to us anyway. Where a seat can still be moved rather than lost, we would far rather move you than keep the money.

Moving to another date

Rescheduling costs nothing up to the same cut-off — 24 hours for a day trip, 72 for a multi-day tour — as long as the date you want still has room. Send us your booking reference and the new date.

If we are the ones who cancel

It happens, almost always to a mountain route in bad weather, and safety is the only reason we do it. You choose: your money back in full, or the same tour on any date that still has space. You hear from us as soon as we know, not on the morning itself.

Getting the money back

Refunds go back the way the payment came in, normally within 5–10 working days once your bank has done its part. An entrance ticket bought in your name through a third party is refundable only where that venue allows it — if that applies to your tour we will say so before you book, not afterwards.

Hotels

What you book with us is the excursion service: transport, the guide and the programme. A hotel is booked either by you or, on request, by us on your behalf — and in both cases its cancellation terms are the hotel's own, not ours. If we book the room for you, ask us for the hotel's terms first.

How to cancel or change a booking

Message us on WhatsApp using the button on any tour page, or write to info@toursfrombaku.az. Give us the name on the booking and its reference. Someone answers during working hours in Baku.
