A little over four hours for 320 km east on good road; Naftalan and what people come for are on the Baku to Naftalan page. This return is unusual in one way: almost nobody books it on the day. A course runs ten days or more, so the question is which date rather than which hour, and a car arranged when you arrived is one less thing to solve from a sanatorium reception at the end of it.

Public transport exists as far as Ganja. Getting from Naftalan to Ganja is a local arrangement, and from there buses run to Baku — workable, but it is two moves with a fortnight of luggage at the point in the trip when you least want them. Quoted on request, because a car sent 320 km to fetch you and a car that brought you and is coming back on an agreed date are different journeys, and because Ganja is often folded into the same move.
